A collection of fabrics, intended for an Obi-sash, inspired by inkblots and traditional Japanese fabrics.

Combining these two topics from different eras, it was possible to create a cohesive collection, which is modern yet still associated with the traditional Japanese design aesthetic.

Cotton and linen fabrics have been dyed with a deep indigo colour and discharged to achieve a resist dye effect, which is charasteristic for traditional Japanese textiles.
